The Sofitel Mumbai BKC’s La Grande Maison became the beating heart of India’s professional AV industry on 16 September, as close to 300 systems integrators, AV consultants, distributors and manufacturers gathered to celebrate excellence, innovation and achievement.
The evening saw 33 prestigious awards presented across all seven categories, recognising some of India’s most outstanding AV projects. The excitement intensified with the announcement of the three eagerly anticipated People’s Awards, which drew enthusiastic support from the audience.
The 2026 edition broke several records. A total of 83 entries—the highest in the Awards’ history—were submitted by 44 organisations, including 8 first-time participants. There were also joint winners in three categories.
Industry support also reached a new high, with 13 partners lending their backing to the programme—a strong reflection of the confidence and respect the SI India Awards have earned within the AV community.
The organisers also took the opportunity to screen a short video celebrating the life and legacy of Kelvin Ashby-King, who sadly passed away earlier this year. In another special moment, Systems Integration Asia, on behalf of India’s AV community, presented outgoing AVIXA CEO David Labuskes with a commemorative gift in appreciation of his contributions to the industry.
More than an awards ceremony, the evening was a spirited celebration of the industry’s creativity, camaraderie and continued drive for excellence. With record participation, milestone achievements and an electrifying atmosphere, the SI India Awards 2026 will be remembered as one of the most memorable editions yet.
