Visionary Solutions has appointed Sidalia “Sandy” Sousa as Sales Support Manager. Sousa joins Visionary after more than 28 years at Crestron Electronics, where she most recently served as senior manager of sales administration for the company’s AV and shades business.
As Sales Support Manager, Sousa will support Visionary’s sales team, dealers and integration partners with order management, logistics and day-to-day sales operations, helping ensure partners have the products and support they need as demand for Visionary’s AV-over-IP and IPTV solutions continues to grow.
Sousa joined Crestron in 1997 and spent nearly three decades supporting the company’s sales organization during a period of significant growth. Her work spanned audiovisual, video conferencing and lighting control, and she led sales administration for Crestron’s audiovisual and shading product lines. During the early years of Crestron’s dealer partnerships, she managed logistics, inventory issues and urgent project-product needs for multi-store retail partners, earning a reputation for integrity, creative problem-solving and a willingness to challenge conventional thinking. Before Crestron, Sousa spent 13 years as senior sales support at Bell Container Corp.
“As Visionary continues to grow, the experience our partners have working with us matters as much as the technology itself,” said Scott Freshman, Chief Operating Officer for Visionary. “Sandy spent nearly three decades at a well-recognized brand, ensuring dealers and integrators had what they needed, when they needed it. She understands how the channel works and how to keep projects moving, and that experience will be a tremendous asset to our partners. We’re pleased to welcome her to the team.”
“After more than 28 years at Crestron, I took some time to think about what I wanted to do next, and Visionary was the right fit,” said Sousa. “I’ve spent my career helping partners get what they need to keep their projects on track, and I’m excited to bring that experience to a team with so much momentum in AV-over-IP. I’m looking forward to getting to know Visionary’s partners and helping them succeed.”
Sousa’s appointment reflects Visionary’s continued investment in the people and resources that support its partner ecosystem. As the company’s portfolio of AV-over-IP, IPTV and collaboration solutions expands, Visionary remains focused on delivering responsive, hands-on support to the integrators, dealers and end users who deploy its technology.
