Atlona has expanded its presentation and collaboration portfolio with the introduction of Omega2, a four-product range designed to simplify connectivity and system integration in modern meeting and learning spaces.
The new lineup includes a 4×2 presentation switcher, two transmitters and a receiver, giving integrators greater flexibility when designing rooms with multiple sources, displays and connected peripherals.
Built around HDBaseT 3.0 technology, the Omega2 range supports high-quality video distribution, USB connectivity and streamlined device management, helping reduce the complexity of AV installations while improving the experience for presenters and users.
Bringing Room Connectivity Together
At the centre of the range is the AT-OME2-R2742 4×2 presentation switcher, which combines multiple connection and control capabilities within a single platform.
Equipped with two HDMI and two USB-C inputs, the switcher provides two HDMI outputs alongside an HDBaseT 3.0 output that mirrors the second display output. It also supports USB-C charging, USB 3.2 connectivity, Dante audio, video scaling and automatic input switching.
By combining these functions, the switcher allows integrators to accommodate multiple presentation sources and displays without relying on numerous separate devices.
Extending AV Signals Over a Single Cable
For installations requiring greater distances between equipment and displays, the AT-OME2-E2311 transmitter and AT-OME2-D2311 receiver provide a practical signal extension solution.
The pair supports uncompressed 4K/60 4:4:4 video, USB 2.0 data and Gigabit Ethernet transmission over distances of up to 100 metres using a single Cat 6A cable.
Bidirectional Power over HDBaseT allows either device to supply power to the other, providing additional installation flexibility. The receiver also features four USB device ports, allowing peripherals to be connected directly at the display location.
These capabilities make the transmitter and receiver suitable for meeting rooms, classrooms and other environments where AV equipment needs to be positioned away from presentation sources.
Simplifying Connections at the Wall or Lectern
Completing the range is the AT-OME2-E2321-WP, a two-gang wallplate transmitter designed to give presenters convenient access to essential connections.
Combining HDMI and USB-C inputs with up to 60W of USB-C charging, the wallplate provides a straightforward connection point for laptops and other presentation devices.
Front-panel input selection and display power buttons further simplify operation, allowing users to manage basic room functions without additional control equipment.
Together, the four Omega2 products offer integrators a flexible approach to designing connected spaces, from straightforward single-room presentation systems to more complex environments involving multiple sources, displays and peripherals.
By bringing signal distribution, device connectivity and room control into a coordinated product family, Atlona aims to make AV installations easier to deploy, manage and use.
