Peavey Commercial Audio (PCA) has rehired Shayne Thomas and and appointed him to the role of General Manager. Thomas will be responsible for overseeing the MediaMatrix and Crest Audio product lines, and rejoins the organization during an exciting time of innovation Powered by Peavey.
Thomas most recently served as Consultant/Project Director at Swee Lee Projects, a Singapore-based, end-to-end solutions provider.
He spearheaded the new Dhirubai Ambani International Convention and Exhibition Center in Mumbai, India, and was responsible for leading a team of international AV design engineers/project managers as well as CAD teams to apply the AV design, value engineering and network infrastructure for the prestigious DAICEC Mumbai exhibition and performance arts center.
Prior to his two-year tenure at Swee Lee, Thomas served Peavey Commercial Audio for many years and in multiple roles. From 2008 to 2014, he served as Regional Manager – Asia Pacific/Oceania/South Asia for MediaMatrix, and was responsible for managing the product line distribution and technical support while directly working with the regions AV consultants, systems design integrators and end users at all levels from the APAC regional office.
In 2014, Thomas was promoted to PCA’s head of Global Marketing, including Enterprise Sales/Business Development directly liaising with stakeholders from Fortune 500 companies, including Samsung, Disney, Universal Studios, Shangri-La hotels and resorts, and more expanding his outreach while collaborating with Peavey and PCA regional offices throughout EMEA, APAC, and AMER.
Upon joining the PCA organization, Thomas brought with him two decades of previous experience across multiple companies including, AAPL Singapore; Inova Audio Visual Designs.
Thomas brings with him an educational background in multiple Engineering disciplines including Computer Science and is an AVIXA™ CTS certified trainer specializing in Digital Audio Processing and Streaming Audio.
