The audio experience technology company d&b group announced the appointment of Dr. Thilo Ittner as Chief Technology & Operations Officer (CTOO), effective January 1, 2026. In this role, Thilo Ittner will drive d&b’s technology strategy and operations, turning innovation into market success and reinforcing the company’s position as a global leader in professional audio.
Thilo Ittner will oversee technology, Product Management, R&D, and Operations, shaping the long-term roadmap that anticipates customer needs and market developments. His efforts will advance key innovation fields including future loudspeaker designs, immersive audio, AI-based solutions, enhanced networking, and cloud-enabled platforms as well as the continuous optimization of d&b’s operations and product delivery.
He joins d&b with extensive executive experience in technology-driven industries. Most recently, as Managing Director and CTO at elobau, he led technology, end-to-end operations, and strategy, achieving profitable growth and strong quality-cost improvements. Earlier in his career, he held senior technology leadership roles at Voith, overseeing product strategy and successful new product launches, while driving organizational transformation. Dr. Ittner also brings strategy and conceptual design experience from his time at McKinsey, where he specialized in product development improvement and lean manufacturing for the automotive and assembly sector. His career highlights include scaling R&D organizations, implementing advanced development processes, and introducing AI-based methods for complex production control.
