On 29 May, AR Visual brought together system integrators, consultants, and end users from across Singapore for its AV Integration Experience event, held at the Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre. Designed in an open-house format, the event ran from 9am to 5pm, giving visitors the flexibility to explore the technology showcases throughout the day.
Partner brands Panasonic, Audio-Technica, Extron, Sony, Hikvision, Comm Products, Meiyad and XLT demonstrated how integrated solutions can be deployed across a range of application environments.
“This is the first time we have organised this event. The objective is to show how different brands and solutions can come together to create a seamless experience for users, while also helping system integrators understand the back-end integration aspects,” said Jason Tan, Director of AR Visual.
Panasonic

In a dedicated demonstration room, Panasonic showcased its PT-HTQ20, the 1-chip DLP projector integrated with the AW-RP60GJ Compact Remote Controller. Featuring the VIVID PRIME RGB laser technology, the PT-HTQ20 projector delivers up to 20,000 lumens of brightness, a wide Rec. 2020 colour gamut standard, and smooth 4K visuals with Quad Pixel Drive technology.
Visitors also had the opportunity to view Panasonic’s first 4K LCD projector, the VMQ85 Series. Weighing less than 8kg, the projector is designed for installation in compact or challenging environments such as simulator bays and immersive experience rooms. The series comprises three models delivering brightness levels of 6,500 to 8,000 lumens and incorporates Panasonic’s two-axis pixel-shifting technology. The Vivid Green Mode enhances natural greens for golf simulation.
Meeting and Collaboration Room

In the Meeting and Collaboration Room, Audio-Technica, Panasonic and Extron combined their technologies to showcase a simple yet powerful meeting room solution.
At the heart of the setup was an Audio-Technica ceiling microphone integrated with a Panasonic PTZ camera, enabling speaker-tracking functionality. This allowed far-end participants to see a close-up view of the active speaker rather than a wide-angle shot of the room, creating a more engaging meeting experience. Connectivity was managed through an Extron Cable Cubby system, providing power, retractable connection cables and convenient volume controls. Extron’s UCS and ShareLink solutions further enhanced the user experience by supporting both wired and wireless content sharing. The platform also enables solution providers to customise the home screen with instructional videos and live room-scheduling information.

AR Visual also used the space to demonstrate AVA’s IllumiNet, a software-defined AVoIP platform designed for control rooms, training centres and multi-screen collaboration environments. IllumiNet enables users to wirelessly control, switch and monitor multiple displays from a single iPad, simplifying the management of complex AV environments.
Also on display was the OnCollab A10 Wireless Conferencing Device, a conferencing-ready solution designed for dual-screen collaboration. It allows users to dedicate one display to video conferencing while using a second screen for annotation, whiteboarding or content sharing. Both IllumiNet and the OnCollab A10 were introduced by AVA at ISE 2026, highlighting the company’s continued focus on enhancing collaboration and workplace productivity.
Town Hall Room

The Town Hall showcase brought together technologies from Extron, Meiyad, Audio-Technica, and Panasonic to demonstrate an intelligent, highly automated event environment.
Large presentation spaces, such as town halls, typically require multiple support personnel to manage audio, video, and presentation workflows. This demonstration showed how many of these tasks can be automated, enabling presenters to run events with minimal technical assistance. At the centre of the solution were Audio-Technica ESW Series wireless microphones, which served not only as audio devices but also as system triggers. Functions such as background music control, presenter tracking, camera switching and live translation could all be activated through the microphones, creating a streamlined and intuitive user experience.
The solution was powered by an Extron DTP3 CrossPoint matrix switcher and MGP 641xi 5K multi-window processor, which provided the foundation for routing, processing and managing content based on the workflow requirements of a typical town hall event. An Extron control system also offered advanced management capabilities for a support staff member when additional oversight was required.
A key highlight of the demonstration was the integration between the Audio-Technica wireless microphones and Panasonic PTZ cameras. The system automatically identified the active speaker and directed the camera to focus on that individual, with the live image displayed on the LED screen. The setup also showcased automatic audio ducking, lowering background audio levels whenever a microphone became active to ensure speech remained clear and intelligible. Of course, all this was made possible because of the Extron switcher and processor.
Using a Windows 11 laptop connected to the Extron DTP3 system, spoken words were also captured and instantly displayed on the Meiyad LED screen, demonstrating real-time captioning capabilities for enhanced audience engagement and accessibility.
The display solution featured Meiyad’s XC Series Flip-Chip COB LED panels, which delivered outstanding image quality, high contrast and enhanced durability. The showcase highlighted how premium COB technology can provide system integrators with a compelling display option for modern corporate and event environments.
Classroom and Digital Signage Room

Sony showcased its 65-inch 4K HDR Professional Displays, including the 400-nit FW-65BZ30P and 700-nit FW-65BZ40P series, both featuring low power consumption and Deep Black Non-Glare technology. Also on display was the 350-nit FW-65EZ20L Professional Display.

Hikvision demonstrated its interactive panels for meeting rooms and classrooms, powered by the company’s WonderOS platform and featuring the WonderOmi AI assistant. When connected to the internet, WonderOmi can answer questions in real time and provide text-to-speech responses, serving as a useful assistant during lessons and meetings.

Comm Products highlighted its IPC-18 Integrated 4×1 4K Control Switch paired with Panasonic’s PT-CMZ50 LCD projector. Featuring USB Type-C, HDMI, and a built-in microphone input, the IPC-18 addresses the basic requirements of K-12 classrooms by offering an all-in-one control platform that can connect to a projector or interactive flat-panel display, document camera, active speakers, and projector screen.
The solution simplifies classroom AV management while offering flexible connectivity, enabling educators and trainers to focus on teaching or training rather than technology.
“We are very pleased with the turnout and interest from the industry. Rather than simply showcasing individual products, the event demonstrated how solutions from different brands can be effectively integrated to meet the needs of end users,” Jason concluded.
