The Planar showroom in Singapore was buzzing with activity on 29 May 2026 as the company hosted its half-day APAC Partner Event, bringing together system integrators and industry partners from across the region.
Jey Wang, CEO of Planar International, opened the event with a welcome address, sharing the company’s history and recent success stories. Jason Lim, CTS, Sales Director / Service, Planar International, then took the stage to outline the company’s strategic direction for working with system integrators. He also emphasised the value of Planar’s Alliance Partner ecosystem, explaining how collaborations with companies such as Cyviz, WyreStorm, T1V, Jabra, ihse, and Crestron give integrators access to shared expertise, seamless integration, and innovative technologies, enabling them to deliver more cost-effective solutions to customers.
Among the Alliance Partners participating in the event were Cyviz and WyreStorm, both of whom showcased their latest technologies and solutions.
Piyush Nair, Pre-Sales Manager at Cyviz, introduced attendees to the company’s portfolio and highlighted several notable projects. He explained how Cyviz solutions help organisations deliver a consistent user experience while simplifying operations. A key focus of his presentation was the Cyviz Software Platform, a unified solution that enables monitoring, management, and support of devices and systems across AV, IT, UC, IoT, and building technologies. The platform provides real-time alerts, proactive insights, and seamless integrations. Nair also demonstrated the ease of use of Cyviz’s collaboration and control solution on a Planar display.
Taking the stage for WyreStorm, Jeffrey Ng, Sales VP of WyreStorm Asia, presented the company’s extensive portfolio and noted that WyreStorm was among the pioneers of AV-over-IP technology, introducing solutions to the market in the mid-2010s. Today, the company offers a comprehensive range of products including NetworkHD AV-over-IP solutions, seamless matrix switching, unified communications technologies, control systems, presentation and conferencing solutions, HDMI/USB/KVM extenders, video wall processors, Dante-enabled audio systems, and connectivity products.
Jeffrey also conducted a live demonstration of WyreStorm’s seamless switching solutions, followed by an in-depth showcase of its control room capabilities using the NHD-500 platform. Demonstrated on a Planar display, the solution highlighted flexible video wall configurations, scalability, multi-monitor control using a single keyboard and mouse setup, and integration with video conferencing systems.
The event also served as an opportunity for Planar to recognise its top-performing partners across the region through the Planar Top Sales Awards 2025.
