NETGEAR, Inc. will use ISE 2026 to introduce two new M4350-series IP switches alongside version 2.4 of its NETGEAR Engage™ Controller, reinforcing its focus on the practical, day-to-day realities faced by AV and broadcast integrators. The updates target three persistent industry challenges: physical reliability in live environments, bandwidth headroom for growing AV-over-IP systems, and the ability to design and validate networks before engineers ever arrive on site.
One of the headline additions is the M4350-16M4V, a switch engineered specifically for production environments where vibration, repeated load-ins, and tight timelines can expose the weaknesses of conventional IT hardware. The unit features Neutrik® locking connectors throughout: etherCON® for copper networking, opticalCON® for fibre, and powerCON® for power. This prevents accidental disconnections during setup or, worse, in the middle of a live show.
Beyond its physical design, the M4350-16M4V delivers 16 × 2.5G PoE++ ports with up to 1,130W of total power, paired with four 25G SFP28 uplinks. Four modular interface card slots allow integrators to tailor uplink connectivity to the specific needs of each deployment, rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all approach.
At the other end of the scale, the new M4350-16C is designed to tackle throughput bottlenecks in large AV-over-IP systems. Offering 16 ports of 100G connectivity, it is intended for aggregation and core layers where multiple high-resolution video streams converge. As resolutions, frame rates, and stream counts continue to rise, the M4350-16C provides the bandwidth headroom required to keep complex systems stable and scalable.
With these additions, the M4350 family now spans 18 models, covering speeds from 1G through to 100G. The portfolio includes high-power PoE++, redundant modular power supplies, and support for SMPTE ST 2110 timing, with TAA-compliant versions available for government and regulated projects. The new switch models are scheduled to ship in March 2026.
Complementing the hardware launch is Engage Controller version 2.4, due in February, which introduces offline provisioning. This new capability allows integrators to create virtual switches and WiFi 7 access points, design complete networks, and test configurations without having physical hardware connected. Networks can be fully built and validated in advance, then exported and deployed on site simply by connecting devices. Configurations can also be saved as templates, making it easier to replicate proven designs across multiple projects.

Neutrik locking connectors ensure nothing disconnects. And 100G switches mean you’re ready for whatever bandwidth demands come next.”
