In a very prideful honour to the stakes that India holds in the global audio-visual industry, two leaders of Indian AV have been elected to the Board of Directors of AVIXA for 2025. The apex body of the global AV industry announced the election results for the 2025 AVIXA Board of Directors and Leadership Search Committee on Wednesday, 13 November 2024.

One very prominent appointment is of Mradul Sharma – Founder-Managing Director of 3CDN Workplace Tech – who has been elected as Secretary-Treasurer of the Board by AVIXA membership.
The other important appointment is of Kaushik Mukhopadhyay – Founder-MD-CEO of AVID India & AVID UAE – who has been appointed Director to the Board. He is one among the eight Directors elected for the year 2025.
The other prominent appointment for the year was the election of Mike Stead, Director of Global Partnerships, GPA, to the AVIXA Leadership Seach Committee.
AVIXA members also elected to the Board Kristin Bidwell, CEO, Audiovisual Consulting Team (AVCT), and Nicholas E. Cox, Sr., Director, IT-AV, Support Team Lead, Mizuho Americas.
Cathryn Lai, Chair of the AVIXA Board of Directors, has appointed Virginia Daugherity, Poly SLED Collaborations Specialist, HP Poly, and Lainie Mataras, Senior Director of the Consultant Architecture and Design Group, Planar, to the Leadership Search Committee.
The Leadership Search Committee (LSC) appointed John Bailey, Senior Vice President, Technology & Innovation, AVI-SPL; and Tom Shen, President & CEO, Shen Milsom & Wilke (SM&W), to AVIXA’s Board of Directors.
