Sustainability in AV (SAVe), a U.S.-based organization focused on mobilizing the audiovisual industry to achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), proudly announces that Crestron has become SAVe Certified, underscoring its commitment to environmental and social responsibility. This milestone was reached following Crestron’s participation in the SAVe Certification Program on July 18, 2024, at Columbia University’s Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory.
The event brought together over 30 Crestron employees from multiple departments, alongside five SAVe representatives and a guest speaker from Columbia’s Climate School. The day’s agenda included powerful educational sessions on climate change, e-waste management, plastic pollution, and recycling. These were followed by a workshop where Crestron employees collaborated to develop strategies for aligning the company’s operations with the SDGs.

Crestron employees engaged in a rich exchange of ideas, leading to innovative and forward-thinking initiatives, particularly in Product Design, which was a focal point of discussion. This collaborative spirit demonstrated the power of a unified approach to tackling sustainability challenges and created a shared sense of purpose.
