Unilumin’s global UMicro product tour recently made a scheduled stop in Bangkok, Thailand. Invited guests present at the high-tech evening soiree, which was held on May 25th at the Bangkok Marriott Hotel, were introduced to the outstanding technological advantages of the UMicro product range. This range is built upon the technological LED research that delivered the sub-1mm UMiniIII product range, and propels the company into the dominion of sub-0.5mm display. Led by Unilumin’s expert team, the event delivered an in-depth discussion and unveiled the further potential of the industry.
Unilumin launched its first 0.5mm UMicro display in 2021, with the UMicro 0.4mm model in hot pursuit just a year later. In terms of crystal-clear picture, smooth viewing experience, and high protection performance, the UMicro and the UMiniIII product ranges realize an overall upgrade, representing a significant upgrade in terms of product and technology.
The LED technology that underpins Unilumin’s UMiniIII and UMicro product ranges combines, respectively, mini and micro level chips with RGB Flip-Chip technology and advanced COB packaging technology and is designed to uniquely deliver the company’s EBL+ (Enhanced Black Level Plus) technology as well as multi-layer optical processing technology.
This innovation delivers the super high 30000:1 contrast level and bestows the super black background, cohesively creating a super soft display image unsullied by reflections due to its ultra-low reflectance properties. The display is supported with ultra-low moiré as well as ultra-low trace properties that characterize the pristine display image.
Enhanced Drive Level (EDL) technology improves the consistency of greyscale across the display even during long periods of use with high brightness. This, in turn, maintains a low temperature across the surface of the display thus addressing the heat dissipation issue.
Operating at cool temperatures also keeps energy consumption to a minimum, assuring the low carbon effect of the UMiniIII and UMicro product ranges. Supported by a one-click sleep function, the display ranges boast dynamic energy-saving and EMC ClassB lower DC power input.
These technologies combine in the micro-pitch UMicro range for a display with incredible 4K picture quality and a visual experience undiminished by high brightness through being environmental adaptive.
UMiniIII offers an equally peerless picture with low-brightness and high-brightness areas corrected separately to ensure consistency across the frame.
Both ranges also support high frame rate applications of 120HZ and 240HZ, which smooths display content considerably, delivering a dynamic HD picture.
Following the detailed layout and planning projections of the UMicro range, the Thai customers were given the opportunity to get hands-on with the latest LED ranges from Unilumin.
