Yamaha Music India has opened its new Experience Centre in Bengaluru recently. The facility is designed to bring customers closer to the full value of Yamaha’s integrated professional audio solutions. It features the combined technologies of Yamaha and NEXO within a unified audio ecosystem.
The Experience Centre offers demonstration with permanent and flexible equipment and system set-up for demo/training, equipment verification, production of promotional material such as webinars, equipment training video material and technical documentation. At the heart of this initiative is the implementation of a LAN-based control system (AV over IP), enabling seamless, scalable, and centralized control of audio-visual infrastructure. This architecture ensures both high performance and adaptability for a wide range of applications.
Looking ahead, the Experience Centre is set to expand into a comprehensive showcase of Yamaha’s musical excellence, featuring pianos, guitars, and other instruments to offer a complete music experience under one roof.

“Yamaha Music India is pleased to announce the opening of our Experience Centre in Bengaluru,” stated Taketoshi Yamamoto, Managing Director of Yamaha Music India. “Recognized as the hub of technology and innovation in India, Bengaluru is also a strategic location where many of our key industry partners are based; with this new facility, we are further strengthening its connection with customers by offering faster and more personalized product demonstrations and technical support,” he said. “This initiative reflects Yamaha’s long-standing commitment to reliability in the professional audio domain and our ongoing efforts to enhance our support infrastructure.”
The Experience Centre is designed to provide an immersive product experience, fostering deeper engagement with industry professionals such as system integrators and sound engineers.
“Yamaha remains committed to delivering valuable experiences to our customers in India through innovative technologies and high-quality musical instruments and professional audio solutions,” Yamamoto explained.
“We are truly delighted to open our Experience Centre in Bengaluru, India,” declared Keigo Hatano, General Manager of Global Marketing & Sales Department at Professional Solutions Division of Yamaha Corporation. “India is a vital and strategic market for our audio business, with enormous potential for future growth. Bengaluru, in particular, is not only a hub for IT and innovation but also the epicentre for expertise and demand in the professional audio industry. Establishing a base in such a forward-looking and dynamic city represents an exciting challenge for us and an important step toward deepening relationships with our customers.”
Through the Experience Centre, we aim to provide hands-on access to Yamaha’s advanced technologies and integrated solutions, while delivering tailored proposals that address real-world challenges. We remain committed to creating greater value for our customers in India and will continue to work together to realize that goal.”
A very cognizable aspect of the launch programme was that even as the Yamaha India top brass was briefing the media about the relevance of the Experience Centre, the company’s technical team demonstrated the functional intelligence and precision of the audio systems installed in the space. Particularly the auto-tracking of the audio through the ceiling microphone systems, and the sound reproduction were of experiential perfection.

The Experience Centre is demo centre of not just Yamaha’s proprietary technologies; it is a space of integrated and immersive audio experiences with solutions created with the company’s technology partners, explained Harisha G N, Deputy General Manager-Audio Sales at Yamaha Music India.
