Systems Integration India Awards, or SIIA in short. For anyone involved with Indian AV industry, this doesn’t need an introduction. A brand in itself, Indian AV’s most prided and celebrated event is calling the industry for the seventh time. Set for the evening of 9 September, in Mumbai, coinciding with the day-one of InfoComm India 2025 tradeshow, the event is rearing to scale up the stakes and further the dynamic it set.

SIIA – an ambitiously attributed synonym for excellence by Indian AV – is coming calling: for the seventh time, for the industry to congregate with its best project pool, and celebrate the rewarding performances.
Scheduled to be organized on the evening of 9 September this year – in less than 90 days from today – in Mumbai, SIIA 2025 hopes to scale up the stakes it set for the industry and raise the dynamic.

Coming riding on the incredibly successful SIIA 2024 held last year, this year’s event has already set the tone for furtherance of excellence. In that it has added one new Category – Audio Conferencing – and a new Partner to catalysz the domain expertise.
Audio Conferencing – which had hitherto been generically considered as part of conferencing domain – has quickly evolved into an independent domain of its own right, and has begun breaking larger and larger grounds of Indian AV.
Aptly measuring the momentum of the segment, Belgian audio major Televic Conference – whose core competence itself is audio conferencing and which had also been making huge grounds in India and neihbouring SAARC geographies decided to brand the segment, and stamp its authority on the domain.

“At Televic Conference, our mission has always been to facilitate clear communication and create better understanding through our technology; The SI India Awards share a similar vision by recognizing the individuals and organizations that make this possible through exceptional system integration work,” commends Mohan Hamal, Vice-President of Sales (India) at Televic Conference. “Since integrators are instrumental in turning technology into real-world solutions that foster better collaboration and understanding, partnering with SI India Awards was a natural and meaningful choice for us.”
According to him, that the SI India Awards are known for their high credentials, and commitment to excellence this partnership with the Awards platform strengthens Televic brand as a leader not only in advanced conferencing technology but also in contributing to better communication and understanding across diverse industries and geographies.
“It connects us more closely with the integration community, consultants, and decision-makers who share our commitment to delivering solutions that help people engage, collaborate, and understand each other more effectively,” explains Mohan.
This alliance is built on shared values and complementary strengths,” vouches the Televic India exec. “While SI India Awards celebrates the skill and innovation of integrators, Televic provides the technology that enables seamless, effective communication—whether in boardrooms, parliaments, or international organizations. Together, we are not only promoting excellence in our industry but also contributing to the larger goal of creating better understanding through reliable, high-quality conferencing solutions that bring people and ideas together.”
Themed as where outstanding AV experiences take centre stage, SIIA 2025 hopes to live up to the theme, and bring all those outstanding AV experienced to the centre stage.
For those perfectionists and new observers, SIIA till now comprised six categories with three budget ranges, viz:
- Corporate
- Education
- Government
- Hospitality
- Infotainment &
- Projection Mapping
The three budget ranges are low budget of ₹ 1 crore to ₹4.99 crore; medium budget of ₹5 crore to ₹9.99 crore; and premium budget of ₹10 crore and above- thereby reaching out practically every segment of the industry spectrum.
It is worth mentioning here that SIIA brought two new additional features to its offering in 2023- One new Category and three Individual Awards of Excellence.
The event had only the first five segments till 2022; however, it saw a new segment emerging from within the Infotainment segment- even in the face of the plaguing pandemic: Projection Mapping.
The think-tank of SIIA quickly mapped the future of the segment, and carved it as an independent segment, and the platform’s sixth Category in 2023. Two years whence, It is there today for the industry to experience the length and breadth and the pace with which it is expanding.

“Our thinking on Audio Conferencing has been a similar one,” states Thomas Richard Prakasam, Managing Director of Spinworkz Pte Ltd, and Co-Organizer of the SIIA. “We did consider other dynamically growing segments such as AVoIP and Digital Signage; however, the market indices showed they still need some critical mass to merit independent domain status,” he explains. “Our pursuit has always been to explore new vistas of genuine growth for the industry and see how we can catalyse the same.”
At the same breadth, the event also brought up three Individual Awards of:
- Young AV Professional of the Year;
- Woman AV Professional of the Year; and
- AV Professional of the Year

Says Ram Bhavanashi, Designated Partner at Shyamindira Media Networks LLP, and Co-Organizer of SIIA: “SI India Awards truly stand synonymous to the excellence that Indian AV had been scaling; It’s not just recognizing and rewarding that excellence but gauge the industry dynamic, its expectations and deliverance. A commitment to contribute to the common cause of the industry.”
According to him, the numbers of the event from where it began stand the obvious indicator. The number of entries to the competition has risen by an impressive 45 per cent, while the number of companies who competed for the honour rose by an incredible 70 per cent. This increased participation included 10 new organizations coming for the first time- which was an apparent statement of the brand SIIA’s becoming a vital platform for galvanizing industry engagement.
Attendees to the event totalled 250-plus, that had over 170 from the AV fraternity itself, with others being from various allied segments.
The event had as many as nine partners: Five Category Partners, viz:
- House of AV for Corporate
- Clearone for Education
- Kramer for Government
- Delta Displays for Infotainment
- Epson for Projection Mapping
And three Normal Partners- Christie Digital, EYEVIZ Digital, and Sennheiser, besides Ansata Computers coming as the event’s Sound Partner.
“SIIA is industry’s cause; and the industry’s call,” asserts Ram. “It’s the industry’s take; we are confident that we will maintain the momentum.”
The project submission details for the entries have also been announced. The last date for the same is 25 July, 2025.
Gear up, prepare your best projects and pitch up the competition. For, while the pride of winning a completion is unparalleled, participating in the competition is a statement in itself.
State up; and Stand up for the cause.
