Along with them, there is one Zapurza Museum – a creation of an inspired vision of Ajit Gadgil, a name synonymous with jewelry entrepreneurship in the country.
The iconic Zapurza Museum of Art & Culture, recently refurbished its auditorium with state of the art audio integration. Pune-based AV systems integration firm Pratyam Technologies, acoustic consultant Vijay Purandhare collaborated with Q-SYS to weave in the audio integration and enliven the artistic experience.

The Zapurza Museum of Art & Culture aims at conserving and promoting Indian art, to be a learning resource for all ages, and to provide local artists with access to its unique facilities. The museum houses 10 galleries/display spaces, along with workshop/activity areas and a 200-seat capacity auditorium created with an objective of providing a modern environment conducive to providing visitors with an exceptional learning and entertainment experience.
The Museum management partnered with locally-based Pratyam Technologies Pvt Ltd to bring the auditorium space to life. The integrator promptly chose Q-SYS audio solution to enliven the audio ambience at the venue.
Explains Pankaj Patil, Director of Pratyam, why they chose Q-SYS: “We were seeking a distributed speaker system, DSP, and a mixer. The challenge was to find all these components as part of a single, unified system.”

According to him, the acoustic design was carefully crafted to ensure optimal absorption and reflection for all types of performances. After conducting a thorough techno commercial assessment of audio equipment, they concluded that the Q-SYS brand, particularly the KLA12 powered line array speakers with their reliable DSP, mixer, and microphones, are performing well up to the mark.
