Datapath has appointed ‘Eddie’ Chin Boo Tan as the company’s senior sales manager for South East Asia, effective immediately.
Based in Singapore, Eddie will be covering the entire ASEAN region, including Taiwan, with Australasian territories continuing to be managed by Andy Lee.
Eddie brings considerable experience to his new role, having worked for 12 years with industry heavyweights Barco, in areas ranging from command & control to AR and Training to Pro-AV and Entertainment.
Prior to joining Datapath, Eddie spent three years at Applied Materials – a factory equipment manufacturer based in Japan.
“I am thrilled to be joining Datapath,” said Eddie. “They are a company known to AV professionals the world over and have established themselves as the leader in command & control video management.
I hope to use my experience to further develop Datapath’s market share in the ASEAN region, servicing customers old and new.”

He added: “Eddie has huge experience in our core markets – command & control and multi-end point video management – and will be completing his training in our Japan office before returning to his operational base in Singapore, where he will oversee Datapath operations in Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam and of course, Singapore. ”
