Jointly spearheaded by Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and the Taichung City Government, and operated by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA). It stands as Taiwan’s latest diamond-level green landmark. Situated in the heart of the Shuinan Trade and Economic Park, the center’s iconic “magic carpet” architectural design symbolizes Taiwan’s industries taking flight globally. To power its state-of-the-art facilities, TICEC has implemented a cutting-edge, venue-wide Aavara x Dante AV Ecosystem designed to handle the most demanding international summits, conferences, and corporate events.
An Enterprise-scale AV-over-IP Deployment
To meet the high-capacity, low-latency requirements of this world-class venue, Aavara deployed the AV matrix of total 158+ units of the PB9700DNT Dante AV Senders and Receivers. This venue-wide installation spans two highly flexible convention levels: the 1st floor features 9 independent professional conference rooms that can easily transition into an open-plan corporate event space, while the 3rd floor houses an expansive, independent hall designed for versatile multi-purpose space ready for diverse future application. Leveraging Dante AV technology, the system delivers visually lossless 4K video and ultra-low latency over standard 1GbE networks, ensuring that every presentation, keynote, and live broadcast is delivered with flawless clarity and precision.
A Fully Unified Dante Ecosystem
Beyond video distribution, TICEC required a comprehensive, unified audio-visual network. Aavara seamlessly integrated its AV-over-IP hardware with a premium, multi-brand audio ecosystem featuring Dante-enabled hardware from industry leaders, including Dante AVIO, Yamaha, Bosch, Shure- all running on a multi-switch ethernet networks powered by Netgear AV Line.
Unlike traditional matrix switches, the Aavara Dante AV solution allows for completely independent audio and video stream routing. AV operators can route high-definition video to projectors/displays while sending separate audio streams directly to Dante-enabled DSPs, mixers, and amplifiers, maximizing room-configuration flexibility without adding complex cabling or conversion hardware.
Centralized Control via Dante Domain Manager (DDM)
To manage this vast, multi-room AV network, the entire ecosystem is secured, monitored, and orchestrated by Dante Domain Manager (DDM). This centralized approach guarantees robust network security, user authentication, and seamless audio/video routing across different network subnets.
New Generation Aavara AV Master
Complementing this infrastructure is the Aavara AV Master, which serves as a highly capable secondary controller designed to operate alongside primary Crestron control systems. The Aavara AV Master enhances the user experience through:
- Real-Time Visual Routing: A web-based, centralized interface provides live video previews of all inputs and outputs. Operators can effortlessly drag-and-drop video sources based on real-time video snapshots, drastically simplifying control video workflows
- Native Dante Managed API Support: Integrated directly with DDM, the Aavara AV Master allows multi-domains AV routing that encompasses both Aavara endpoints and third-party Dante hardware, including Dante AVIO adapters, Yamaha mixers, Shure microphones, and Bose Professional audio systems.
- One-Touch Presets (Scenes & Macros): System administrators can pre-program complex, multi-step configuration control sequences. With a single click, rooms can instantly transition from a unified grand ballroom setup to independent breakout rooms.
