The State T.B. Demonstration cum Training Centre (STDC) in Bhopal is a specialized facility dedicated to the prevention, control, and treatment of tuberculosis (TB) in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. The Centre serves as a hub for training healthcare professionals, conducting research, and implementing innovative strategies to combat TB.

Recently, the management at the STDC decided to upgrade their existing conference room with modern conferencing capabilities, complete with state-of-the-art audio-conferencing systems that would afford stakeholders an enhanced level of dexterity while also assuring ease of use along with optimal performance value. The decision to do so was driven by the desire to efficiently meet the specific needs of the conference room, while aiming to create a more conducive environment for effective training and demonstrations through clear and uninterrupted communication. And to do so, the management turned to renowned comprehensive audio solutions provider Vardhaman Mega Tech (VMT).
After studying the various nuances of the room, the system design and installation team from Diverse Technologies Pvt Ltd along and VMT addressed the requirements specific to the space, which included the need for a versatile and reliable gooseneck base with a sturdy and functional switch. Additionally, they worked on ensuring optimal audio quality and coverage, after considering the diverse nature of various training and demonstration scenarios.
Locally-based systems integration firm Diverse Technologies Pvt Ltd was signed on for delivering the required solution framework.
To meet effectively meet these needs, the team narrowed down their options to the OS 42B Gooseneck Base with switch from reputed manufacturer Oliver Systems Limited (OSL) as they believed that a comprehensive system built around the OS 42B would provide the desired practical solution, enabling seamless control and flexibility during training sessions. The team have also incorporated the OS 18 adjustable 18″ cardioid gooseneck microphones from OSL, which have been noted to offer excellent audio performance and adaptability.
