In November, the 15th National Games of China were held across Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. As the largest-scale and highest-level comprehensive sports event in China, the Games saw the extensive involvement of Unilumin. With its leading LED display and lighting products as well as integrated sport LED solutions, Unilumin participated in the construction and upgrading of multiple major venues spanning all competition zones. It provided audiences with an unprecedented visual experience and immersive viewing enjoyment, contributing to the success of this grand sporting spectacle.
Creation of Hong Kong TV Station’s Largest LED Studio
For the National Games, which was held in Hong Kong for the first time, Hong Kong’s public broadcaster RTHK established a dedicated production facility to offer citizens a novel viewing experience. The centerpiece is the largest ultra-high-definition LED screen production system in Hong Kong TV station – featuring LED products supplied by Unilumin. This includes a main screen measuring 6 meters high by 22.5 meters wide, a 21-meter wide stage floor screen, and the supporting solution.

This platform successfully handled the live broadcast of all events throughout the Games, fully demonstrating Unilumin’s capabilities in building “smart broadcasting” systems.
Over 10,000㎡ Highly Stable LED Displays in 23 Venues
For this National Games, Unilumin was deeply involved in the construction, upgrade, and maintenance of display systems across 23 large-scale venues. Deploying over 10,000㎡LED screens and specialized sports LED solutions, Unilumin provided a comprehensive range of services for competition venues, training facilities, and mass-participation event activities.
At the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center, a core venue of the Games, an immersive visual system was created using Unilumin’s scoreboard and ribbon screens. Furthermore, its facade was completely upgraded with 2,500 ㎡holographic transparent display. It stands as the world’s largest holographic display project to date, constructed with Unilumin’s independently developed and produced Udesign SV—the world’s first MIP holographic transparent display product, for which Unilumin holds full intellectual property rights.

At Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Sports Park, Unilumin supplied a total of 1,200 sqm LED screens, including perimeter screens, outdoor advertising screens, and display control systems, delivering high-standard display and lighting support for sports such as rugby, handball, and fencing.

In Macao, at the Galaxy Arena and the Venetian Theatre, which hosted table tennis and women’s volleyball events, Unilumin provided LED centerhung screens, ribbons and high-definition display control systems, enabling a 360° immersive viewing experience.
