On 30th and 31st October, leading technology brands — Audio-Technica, Cisco, Comstor, Epson, Extron, Samsung and systems integrator PAVE System — came together to present SYNC-UP: Powering Spaces with Audio, Visual & Intelligent Controls.
Held at the Singapore Flyer, the two-day showcase attracted a steady stream of AV consultants and end-users from various market segments, all eager to explore new possibilities for seamless and intelligent experiences.
Showcase Highlights
Throughout the event, visitors attended scheduled presentations covering key applications, including Videowall Processor Systems, Town Hall Spaces, Intelligent Meeting Spaces, and Automated Room Monitoring — each demonstrating the future of integrated AV and control environments.
Videowall Processor Systems
This session spotlighted Extron’s Quantum Ultra II 305 with Link License & EMS Express Software, alongside the TLP Pro 1230WTG touchpanel, IPCP Pro 360Qxi, and Mediaport 300. The demonstration revealed how a single Quantum Ultra II 305 can power multiple displays and windows with exceptional real-time performance, maintaining precise scaling and aspect ratios. The TLP Pro 1230WTG interface provided intuitive control for quick window presets and effortless source switching.
Town Hall Spaces
The Town Hall setup explored system design for large venues such as auditoriums, integrating ultra-bright projection, automated camera tracking, audio management, and multi-window presentations.
Among the equipment featured were Epson’s EB-PQ2220B 20,000-lumen projector with Ultra-Short Throw lens, Audio-Technica’s ESW-T4102/C710 microphone, and a suite of Extron solutions including the DTP3 CrossPoint 884 Switcher, MGP 641xi 5K Multi-Window Processor, TLP Pro 1230WTG Touch Panel, DMP 128 Plus C AT ProDSP Digital Matrix Processor, XPA U 4004 FX Amplifier, CA 163 Column Array Speaker, and SF 8CT In-Ceiling Subwoofer — delivering immersive sound and intelligent control with real-time captioning and translation.
Intelligent Meeting Space
This segment illustrated how today’s hybrid meeting environments can deliver seamless collaboration through AI-directed camera views, intelligent control, and adaptable setups.
Solutions showcased included Cisco’s Quad Camera and Room Vision Camera, Extron’s IPCP Pro 255Q xi control processor, Audio-Technica’s ATW-1422 wireless microphones, and Extron NAV AVoIP distribution.
A highlight was the control panel’s ability to trigger real-time catering requests — seamlessly integrated with Automated Room Monitoring, which used AI to analyse live images to verify display performance, cleanliness, and system readiness before meetings. At the core, the Extron Control Processor provided automated system checks and centralised control, while Extron’s GlobalViewer Enterprise (GVE) enabled streamlined resource management across all AV systems.
Solution Stations
Beyond the presentations, visitors explored various solution stations demonstrating real-world applications of AV and control technology.
Next-Gen Projection showcased Epson’s classroom-to-corporate solutions, including the ELPDC30 Document Camera, EB-L790U, Knowla Box with EB-760Wi, and EB-PQ2220B with UST Lens, alongside Transparent and Frame Projection displays.
Video Conferencing Solutions featured Cisco’s Room Bar BYOD and Room Bar Pro – intelligent collaboration devices powered by NVIDIA chips that enhance meeting experiences with AI-powered noise removal, real-time translations, and an agentic AI director that dynamically optimises camera views to ensure the best view every time. Powered by Cisco RoomOS, these devices support all major meeting platforms, providing a flexible and scalable BYOD solution for modern hybrid spaces.
SmartThings Pro, from Samsung, showcased the brand’s IOT solutions from beyond smart homes to hospitality, office, retail and commercial buildings, connecting Samsung displays and other smart devices through a single app. Demonstrations featured the Galaxy Watch, Tablet, and a range of Samsung displays from the QM-55C display to the Flip Pro 85″ , illustrating seamless control of smart lighting, sensors, and appliances.
Interactive Projection Table, powered by Epson’s EB-770Fi 3LCD projector, offered hands-on interaction with a motorised, height-adjustable, and mobile setup ideal for training, design, and collaboration in flexible spaces.
Commercial Audio Solutions, presented by Audio-Technica, highlighted how professional audio systems deliver clarity and reliability for hybrid corporate and education environments. From ATND network ceiling microphones and ATDM smart mixers to the ESW Engineered Sound Wireless System and System 20 PRO, these solutions integrate seamlessly with platforms like Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and Zoom, ensuring every voice is heard clearly and consistently.
