Mersive Technologies has expanded its alliance partnership program to include Yamaha Unified Communications to provide a new meeting and learning space collaboration solution that supports both onsite and remote participants. This partnership combines Mersive’s category-defining Bring Your Own Meeting room system with Yamaha’s superior meeting room audio solutions to provide best-in-class hybrid meeting support.
With the continued growth of remote and dispersed work models, the Mersive + Yamaha UC room solutions provide seamless and flexible support for the new, more dynamic hybrid workplace. Mersive’s Solstice Pod paired with a Yamaha YVC-200, YVC-330, or YVC-1000 conference phone and a (optional) supported USB camera comprise a complete room solution. With the room audio/video peripherals USB-connected to the Solstice Pod, the meeting host connects wirelessly by laptop. Through a touchless one-step start, Solstice Conference – a software-enabled capability – bridges to remote participants using any major video conferencing service, including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Webex.
Using Solstice Conference, Yamaha’s audio devices transparently pass to the meeting host laptop, maintaining their native functionality and certifications. Solstice Conference extends the full room audio/video and the rich, multi-participant content sharing experience of Solstice to remote participants, enhancing collaboration for hybrid workplace meetings.
