Kramer Electronics (India) has kicked off the 2025 version of its popular industry-connect initiative of K-wAVe in Bengaluru earlier this week. Familiar though, the progamme is, for the AV community in the city, the latest edition did have and show what’s the AV major is up to for the year with regard to its new product and industry connect initiatives.

The event began with Kirti Shetti, Kramer’s Country Manager for South Asia, welcoming the gathering followed by a brief address by Kramer-APAC President Bharath Kumar Alur.

Setting the tone for the evening and the event, Bharath outlined the dynamics of Indian economy vis-à-vis that of the AV industry, and the leadership role Kramer had been playing to raise the bar of excellence from time to time, by means of its wide range of solution portfolio powered by technology innovation, acquisition, and collaboration with technology majors of complementary competence.
The encouraging economy growth rate of 7.4 per cent during the Q4 of last fiscal year compared the annual growth rate presents a positive outlook for the year ahead, he said, and therefore opportunities for higher growth for the industry.
The second event of the pan-India K-wAVe programme was organized in Ahmedabad on Thursday 12 June, and will travel to Pune on 17 June, followed by Mumbai on 19 June, Chennai on 24 June, and Delhi on 30 June. |
Kramer had always been playing a catalytic role for the industry growth, and it continues to present the industry with solutions that contribute to growth with experiential technology.

Presenting a blend of retrospective and road to future, Kirti outlined the AV major’s initiatives for the year- through its major operational areas:
- AVoIP
- Phanta Rhei
- Aston Bentley &
- USB-C
Detailing the company’s initiatives and breakthroughs in these domains, Kirti explained how Kramer’s solutions make the experiences of AV installation and user spaces get better.
She also provided a window to what the company is coming up for the year ahead:

Making networked audio more simpler, Kramer will introduce a portfolio of premium sound PoE-powered Dante speakers. The company will also launch new line of speakers with Kramer signature premium sound optimized for conferencing and background music.
The current product portfolio will soon have an expanded ranges, the company will also introduce new categories for wide application areas.
While initiating these processes, the company will continue to focus on the solution, rather than mere product innovation, leading to industrial design, and software development aimed at simplifying installation, set-up and trouble shooting.
As a case in a point, the fast-track conferencing set-up with a blend of Kramer AV solutions and Ashton Bentley infrastructure was demonstrated to the gathering of AV consultants and systems integrators.
Some of the prominent attendees included Shivanand Mahashetti and Mahesh Ballad from Online Instruments; Deepak Srinivas and Prakahs Girirao from Sigma AVIT; Rhythm Arora of Qubix Technologies; Rajshekar of Tek-Innovate Consulting, Ajeez of EYTE Technologies, Selwyn Fernandez of HMPL Consulting, among others.
