With a rich 66-year tradition of hosting the local Candle Festival, and a church building standing strong for 45 years, Thiensung Church has been a spiritual home for the local Chinese-Thai community. Recently, the church embarked on a major sound system upgrade, choosing JBL Professional’s BRX300 series to enhance the worship experience for its congregation.
The decision stemmed from ongoing issues with outdated sound equipment — some over 40 years old — that resulted in inconsistent audio coverage and lack of clarity in sermons and worship music. Aekanan Kaewbua, a longtime church member and former professional in the AV industry, initiated the project after witnessing frequent feedback from both elders and musicians about the poor acoustics.
With consultation from Mahajak Development Co., Ltd and based on strong recommendations for reliability, clarity, and budget compatibility, the church chose the JBL BRX300 Series. The system was installed across the main hall to ensure even sound distribution, clarity in sermons, and dynamic, expressive worship music.
“Before, some areas of the room couldn’t hear anything, while others were overwhelmed with loud sound,” Aekanan Kaewbua shared. “Now, every corner receives the same warmth and clarity — whether it’s a spoken sermon or a powerful worship song.”
The result was immediate and tangible. Musicians reported hearing every note with precision and improved dynamics, while congregation members highlighted how much more engaged and moved they felt during services. The once-inconsistent audio has now been replaced with crystal-clear sound that matches the heart of the message being shared.
