In October, Shum Yip Upperhills invested in two INFiLED-made screens in Shenzhen for the construction of its smart showroom, including a 7.5*2.5m DB series backdrop screen and a 7.5*5m LED floor. These screens will be used for the company’s opening bell live stream and commercial video production.
Shum Yip Upperhills is located in the central area of Futian, Shenzhen, covering an area of approximately 120,000 m². It is a large-scale urban multi-functional space integrating industrial research and development, apartments, hotels, and commerce. Since most of the Upperhills’ businesses have publicity needs, Shum Yip Group decided to build an indoor sound stage with INFiLED’s products to meet the demand.
The LED background features accurate colour reproduction, a pixel pitch of 2.6mm, and a resolution of 2880*960 in terms of display. It can fluently show videos in high-definition with a high refresh rate of 7680Hz, and convey artistically appealing visuals with a max brightness that can reach 1200nits; moreover, it can be viewed from a wide angle of 160° in both vertical and horizontal, which allows the camera crew to capture wonderful images from different positions.
For the floor, Shum Yip Group applied the DF series screen, which has a contrast ratio of 5000:1 and a high greyscale of 14bits, supporting smooth and efficient graphics rendering and playing a key functional role in extending the backdrop sceneries; besides, this LED floor has a strong bearing capacity of 1500kg/m², which is enough to support the various performances of the actors on it safely.
