Bosch Security Systems has launched its new AUTODOME 7100i (IR) cameras that feature IVA Pro, an expert suite of application-specific video analytics offering reliable, precise classification for city surveillance, traffic monitoring and long-distance perimeter detection.
Further enhancing reliability, these cameras are equipped with a unique positioning system. The cameras will always retain their position and provide consistently stable images despite power outages, excessive force, and vibration. To ensure relevant data is captured 24/7, the AUTODOME 7100i (IR) camera portfolio offers 1080p and 4K ultra-HD resolutions, starlight technology and optional IR models. To save valuable time while still maintaining safety standards, the cameras employ a simplified installation concept and require no calibration for person or vehicle detection.
Highly reliable video analytics: IVA Pro Buildings and Perimeter come free and pre-installed on AUTODOME 7100i (IR) cameras. Based on deep learning, IVA Pro Traffic is an additional, licensed option that supports ITS applications. By achieving accuracy levels beyond 95 percent in vehicle counting, it can replace traditional and expensive-to-maintain counting methods, for example, ground loops.
In addition to giving an accurate count, IVA Pro Traffic offers reliable detection and sub classification of vehicles such as cars, bicycles, buses, motorcycles, and trucks. It can accurately detect and classify pedestrians, even in crowded scenes, to enable safety solutions for vulnerable road users. The collected data provides actionable insights for improving the efficient use of roadways and the safety of people and vehicles at intersections, highways, and tunnels. The algorithms of the IVA Pro Traffic are trained to ignore potential disturbances caused by vehicle headlights or shadows, extreme weather, sun reflections, and shaking cameras.
IVA Pro Intelligent Tracking is a new, licensed option that enables the camera to zoom in and follow a selected object automatically . The new software uses deep learning to understand more complex vehicle and pedestrian traffic scenarios and situations, such as when vehicles and pedestrians chosen to be tracked by the functionality are temporarily stopped in transit due to traffic lights, congestion, or accidents. This sophisticated analysis of the scene gives the user a higher degree of reliability that the selected object will be followed continuously, even if it does not keep moving all the time.
Smart & Robust Design: A patented installation concept enables operators to install the AUTODOME 7100i (IR) cameras on a wall or pipe with one hand. A new assistant hinge allows installers to click the camera in place safely and securely and get it up and running quickly, especially when installing from an elevated area. On top of this, system integrators can perform services such as changing configuration settings or installing firmware updates via the Bosch Remote Portal from anywhere.
Adding to the reliability of these cameras and leveraging the MIC’s unique positioning system, the AUTODOME 7100i (IR) never loses track of its position, even if power is lost or the camera sustains excessive force. Built-in brushless positioning motors are highly efficient because they use less energy and offer a longer service life. The system presets are accurate to .10 degrees and maintains the intended position for pre-positions, sectors, and privacy masks.
