Concept Associates (KL) Sdn. Bhd. (CAKL) and AV and video conferencing distributor Next Visual Sdn. Bhd. co-hosted the Shure IntelliMix Bar Pro Experience Day on 6 October 2026 at Next Visual’s Experience Centre in Subang Jaya.
The event marked Next Visual’s official appointment as Shure’s dedicated Unified Communications (UC) partner and introduced Shure’s first all-in-one, plug-and-play video conferencing bar to Malaysia’s enterprise customers, AV consultants and system integrators.
Joining the two companies were Shure representatives Rajalakshmy Nair, Head of Marketing for the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific, and Kevin Koh, Marketing Manager, Shure SEA. Next Visual Managing Director Liew KK and Concept Associates Managing Director Castrit Lim were also present to mark the partnership.
Putting Meeting Performance to the Test
Designed for medium-to-large meeting spaces, the IntelliMix Bar Pro was demonstrated through a live connection between Subang Jaya and Singapore, allowing attendees to assess its performance in a working conferencing environment.
Gerald Lee, Associate Manager, Market Development, Shure SEA and Pacific, joined remotely from Singapore through the IntelliMix Bar Pro. The session demonstrated the bar’s onboard IntelliMix AI-powered digital signal processing, including real-time noise and reverberation reduction.
Attendees also saw the Quad 4K Camera Array in action, with demonstrations of automatic framing and facial tracking across a wide conference layout. The live format gave guests an opportunity to judge how the system handled both sound and participant visibility during a call.
Guests then moved into the Experience Centre’s dedicated Huddle Room for a closer, hands-on evaluation. With a live call to Singapore running through the system, they explored the bar’s physical design and edge-mounted camera optics, alongside its Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android platform, Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP) security features and centralised ShureCloud management capabilities.
