Not just the numbers and volumes but the nerve, and verve that the premier awards event has characterized, is finding as well as posing new energetic expression. That, perhaps, summarizes the way SIIA 2026 is about unfold on the evening of 16 September at The Marquee Sofitel, BKC in Mumbai- a record of sorts is in the making.
Particularly, this year’s event at this moment – even as we prepare for the final phase of the run-up to the grand occasion – is important in four aspects.
One- It is a record-breaking number of project nominations this time- raising from 62 projects in 2025 to touch as many as 85. Such has been the momentum that projects not only came from hitherto uncharted corners but those who were on the fringe of timelines, and had to stay away. Some are already lined up for next year (2027).
Two- SIIA this year has two new Partners onboard. One for the Young AV Professional of the Year Award- Partnered by Mindstec Distribution. The Dubai-headquartered multinational AV solutions distribution major who had been very aggressive in India with new initiatives gave a new expression to its dynamism by partnering with SIIA.
The 20-year-young AV distribution major, found a matching partner for its youthful dynamism with Young AV Professional of the Year Award.
