Extron has announced the launch of the UCS 910 Series, a new line of twisted pair USB extenders designed to deliver reliable, high-speed USB connectivity across larger spaces. Compatible with USB 3 and earlier standards, the UCS 910 Series supports data rates of up to 5Gbps and extends USB signals up to 330 feet (100 metres) over CAT 6A cabling—making it well suited to classrooms, conference rooms, and other demanding AV environments.
The UCS TR 910 Kit includes a transmitter, receiver with power supply, and ZipClip mounting hardware, allowing secure installation in furniture, behind displays, or under desks. The transmitter features a USB-C host connection and can be powered either locally or directly from the receiver, reducing the need for additional power outlets. At the far end, the receiver provides a two-port USB hub with both USB-C and USB-A connections for remote peripherals.
Supporting devices such as interactive displays, annotation tools, headsets, speakers, and more, the UCS 910 Series is designed for environments where dependable, high-performance USB extension is critical, including training rooms, courtrooms, lecture halls, and enterprise collaboration spaces.
