In November, the operator of Tai’an Pumped Storage Power Station invested in a 3.6-meter by 2.0-meter screen for its conference room. The screen adopted the WP series from INFiLED, with a resolution of 2880×1620, and was used for conferences and project planning presentations.
Tai’an Pumped Storage Power Station is a national engineering project with an annual power generation capacity of 1.3 billion kWh. The station pumps and releases water daily to store electricity and generate electricity to regulate peak power demand. To ensure the key operation information was accurately conveyed to the staff, the high-definition WP series screen was used.
In terms of display, the screen delivers a comfortable viewing experience for the viewers. It adopts IMD encapsulation technology and has a pixel pitch of 1.25mm to perform unrivalled picture clarity. When used for conferences, every detail in the presentation, such as key charts and text, can be clearly displayed through this excellent screen, allowing participants to understand the content information and participate in the conference easily.
The power station’s daily work schedule is tight and often team-based. To make efficient teamwork, the screen is also used to present team members with their task instructions and other details. The WP series screen has a high refresh rate of 3840Hz, a brightness of 600nits, and no glare. It is characterized by superior colour purity and a wide colour gamut, showing excellent picture quality whether playing videos or images.
