Thirty thousand eight hundred and sixty-six visitors thronged the halls of Beijing InfoComm China. It was a welcome sight by many in the industry. The exhibition featured products and solutions that included AI, IoT, robotics and other smart technologies that will be pivotal in empowering businesses to capitalize on new opportunities in the post-pandemic landscape. The successful outcome of the exhibition seems to bear testimony to the AVIXA IOTA report that states the APAC AV industry will do better than the other regions in 2021 and beyond. I would also like to highlight about the Innovation Centre by Johnson Controls. It aims to be a living laboratory to create a new breed of customizable, contact-free applications built on Johnson Controls’ unifying technology suite, for the future-ready built environment for the region. The objective is to create an ecosystem that bridges core building technology with behavioural, wellness, and spatial data to develop solutions that meet new demands for safety and sustainability in connected spaces.
