Drawing 5,930 business visitors over three days, Chengdu InfoComm China 2019 once again demonstrated its importance as a platform for businesses in Western China to tap into the latest experiential technologies and transform their businesses.

 

The second run of Western China’s premier Professional AudioVisual (Pro-AV) and Integrated Experience solutions show, which ran from 4-6 September 2019, featured the latest in 3D technologies, acoustic products, AR and VR, digital signage, wireless AV systems, projectors, interactive whiteboards, command and control systems, amongst many others.

Aside from the exhibition, there were over 40 Summit sessions held concurrently for deeper learning on the latest technologies and industry trends.

The Summit attracted a total attendance of 3,673.

Richard Tan, the Executive Director of event organizer InfoCommAsia, said, “There is unlimited potential in the power of experiential technologies to transform all businesses, from education to retail to finance to many others.”

“The possibilities are endless and new technologies are emerging every day. Through Chengdu InfoComm China, businesses in Western China are now finally able to be at the forefront of change, which is timely given how swiftly the region is developing.”

Visitors were impressed with the quality of the show, which was themed ‘Breaking Boundaries’.

It featured 100 exhibitors including industry bellwethers like Yamaha, Extron, AOTO, Bose, Danacoid and BXB.

Gao Shang Xue from the Sichuan Western Management Co., Ltd. took part in a guided show floor tour during which she quickly connected with the suppliers he wanted to work with. “The exhibition is very highly targeted. During the show, I was also able to learn about the latest services and equipment supply in the relevant professional sectors within the industry.”

Visitors were also blown away by the introduction of seven live demonstration zones this year ¡V Smart Conferencing, Public Security Control Center, Smart Living in the Future, Smart Offices, Theme Parks, Integrated Intelligent Media Production and Broadcast Services, as well as Smart IoT Visualization.

These were designed to help visitors better experience and understand how Pro-AV solutions can be harnessed for various applications.

Mr. Ma, a manager from the Chengdu 12 Zodiac New Entertainment Cultural Media Co., Ltd., was visiting Chengdu InfoComm China for the first time. He said, “The seven live demonstration zones at the exhibition were very interesting. It was very useful for me to experience the various technologies applicable in everyday life. I was able to find the technologies I wanted including displays, VR technology and audio.”

Visitors were also impressed with the quality of the Summit. It comprised over 40 free-to-attend sessions which ran the gamut from technical seminars, to technology forums on hot topics like digital innovation, and specific industry forums on areas including smart cities, smart hotels, transportation and education.

Zhang Lian, the Director of Chengdu Dover Business Management Co., Ltd. said, “The Chengdu InfoComm China platform really enabled me to know more about the latest and the most practical technologies, systems and equipment which can provide greater opportunities for enterprises, especially the construction industry, to move towards more cutting-edge, high-efficiency and innovative developments.”

Amongst the exhibitors, the success of the show underscored the potential of Western China.

Many were heartened to meet quality visitors and demonstrate their solutions, which resulted in the orders and transactions being penned at the show.

Chen Jiaxin, the Deputy General Manager of AGneovo Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., which was a first-time exhibitor at the show, said,

“Chengdu has transformed so much compared to a few years ago, and we believe there are many more opportunities for businesses to develop here in the west.”

Lin Fuxin, the CTO of Shenzhen KattGatt Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd, added, “InfoComm has a high reputation in the professional fields, with many big players participating in the show for many years. The show is also a huge gathering for the industry to interact and learn from one another.”
