Polycom has launched a new customer demonstration centre in Thailand early August, providing customers the opportunity to experience firsthand the company’s latest video, audio and content collaboration solutions. The facility also serves the Polycom partner ecosystem and is strategic to providing expertise to all partners thereby strengthening partners’ competency.

As part of Polycom’s strategic growth plans for Thailand, the centre aims to provide, introduce and equip Thai businesses with Polycom’s video and audio conferencing solutions to help them remain competitive.

Located in Bangkok’s Central World Tower, visitors to the facility will be provided with specialist advice and resources for purchasing, financing, and deployment to help maximise collaboration investments. In addition, the centre will also showcase the application of collaboration technology across various industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, banking and government.

The demonstration centre will deliver a hands-on, interactive experience of Polycom collaboration solutions which include: Polycom® RealPresence® Room systems for different room sizes; including the RealPresence Trio™, RealPresence Debut™ and the new RealPresence Centro™, the first visual collaboration solution purpose-built to put people at the centre of collaboration.

Equipped with industry-leading innovations such as automatic camera framing and zooming of meeting participants, SmartPairing, and noise cancelling technologies, the centre will also demonstrate how the unique open-standards approach of the Polycom RealPresence experience ensures interoperability with hundreds of UC, business, and social networking applications, bridging silos to truly unify communications across the enterprise. The centre will also showcase the native integration between Polycom’s voice, video and content solutions and Microsoft’s Skype for Business, SharePoint, Exchange and Office 365.

Customers will be able to gain better insights of how Polycom’s collaboration tools can remove barriers to productivity by using customised solutions according to their organisational needs. The tools will also allow Thai businesses to develop digital work habits for their organisation that can help drive greater productivity gains, increased efficiency, cost savings as well as retaining and attracting talent.

“Businesses in the country need to be more agile and resilient. Backed by the national push for Digital Thailand, we see more businesses reviewing their workflow, aiming to transform and stay competitive.”

“Polycom sees this demonstration centre as a key part of their journey as they plan, test and customise our visual collaboration solutions to help them achieve productivity gains.” said Thep Ritrangkla, Polycom’s Thailand Country Manager. “We see our technology as an enabler for Thai businesses and will continue to be committed in bringing the latest video conferencing solutions and innovations to them.” added Thep.
