The LEO family saw its smallest member, the LINA launched at the ISE, along with its companion subwoofer, the 750-LFC. The LINA system is said to have more processing power, low distortion and higher SPL yet maintaining almost the same size and weight as the widely successful MINA system. The LINA system will be fully compatible with existing MINA systems using the delay integration feature on Meyer Sound GALAXY processors as well as MINA hardware.
The GALAXY Series included latest digital processors such as the GALAXY 408; GALAXY 816, and GALAXY 816 AES3. On live display at the booth was a GALAXY processor transmitting audio via a AVB network to a CAL 64 loudspeaker.
“The LINA system, with its high SPL-weight ratio opens up endless possibilities of audio configurations for both mobile and fixed installations,” explains Sandeep Braganza, Meyer Sound’s newly appointed Sales Manager-India. “While Meyer Sound’s new launches attract global excitement every time, we have seen a tremendous response from South Asia for the LEO family; as well as CAL and Constellation solutions. It’s an exciting journey ahead.”
