Connessioni, in cooperation with AES Philippines, presents the 15th edition of AudioForum, the educational event dedicated to the audio community. The event,for the first time in the region, will take place on 16th May at InfoCommSEA, in Bangkok, Thailand.
AudioForum is a half day educational event organized by Connessioni, in cooperation with Systems Integration Asia and AES – Audio Engineering Society – supported by InfoComm SEA and sponsored by Genelec.
It will take place in Bangkok on Thursday 16th May 2019, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm, during the InfoComm SEA show.
AudioForum was created in 2013 to provide a continuous technical and market update on the most important audio topics.
It is an educational event that condenses seminars, workshops, updating, networking and conviviality.
It is dedicated to sound designers, system integrators, installers, companies and in general to professionals interested in knowing more about the latest audio and integrated technologies.
A unique opportunity for broadening knowledge, but also for developing new contacts and sharing experience and ideas, with colleagues, peers and companies.
The topics for InfoComm@ASEAN 2019
The AudioForum will cover some “hot” topics related to sound diffusion and acoustics: principles and functionality of loudspeakers (and why line array is not always the best choice), directivity, the importance of good sound design, the relation between sound diffusion and closed environments… and much more.
Speakers will be renowned experts coming from different parts of the world and different experiences: Lars Olof Janflod, Strategy Advisory Officer at Genelec Oy, Alfonso Martin Rodriguez, Chief Engineer and Co-founder at Sonos Libra, and Simon Rains, expert in acoustics.

AudioForum is an international event and was previously organized in Milan, Amsterdam, Mumbai and Beijing, in cooperation with the main international AV shows and associations – ISE, InfoComm China, InfoComm India, SIEC etc.
AudioForum has been gathering over 1,500 attendees, and has had the support of some of the main brands in the audio market (including Bose, Powersoft, Genelec, RCF, Biamp, 18 Sound, K-array, Yamaha etc.)
