AIMS — the Alliance for IP Media Solutions — will be at InfoComm to promote the adoption of open standards for video and audio in the pro AV market. Alcons Audio will be showcasing the Alcons Pro-Ribbon Immersive Experience. Not only will Alcons again be partnering with Astral Spatial Audio, but also with pro mixing solutions by Avid for the first time. Located in an acoustically optimized-space in Demo Room W231A at the Orange County Convention Center, hour-long demonstrations of the updated Pro-Ribbon Immersive Experience will be at 11am, 1pm and 3pm on Tuesday 11June and at 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm on Wednesday 12 June – Friday 14 June.

Atlona, a Panduit company, will present its AT-OME-MS42 4×2 matrix switcher. The OME-MS42 combines the benefits of auto-switching for USB-C, HDMI, and DisplayPort, plus integrated display control and USB extension, offering flexible capabilities for 4K presentation and software video conferencing applications. Selectable AV switching modes across HDBaseT and HDMI outputs enable simple configuration and effortless ease of use tailored to a specific application.

Aurora Multimedia will demonstrate the IP-24PoE+ — the first ever 24 port PoE+/PoH+ injector to deliver power on a 10G connection. It is compatible with any standard 1G or 10G network switch and will deliver up to 30 watts of power per port. Aurora designed the IP-24PoE+ for its IPX Series SDVoE AV over IP product line as it currently is the only 10G AV over IP with PoE. The IP-24PoE+ can also supply power to HDBaseT PoH products providing remote powering as well.

AV Stumpfl will highlight the new PIXERA mini hardware. PIXERA mini is an ultra-compact media server, perfect for digital signage and multi-display applications. The PIXERA mini is a 1U and ½ 19“ product. Two PIXERA mini servers can be installed in a 1U 19“ rack. This next-generation media server product is available with 2 or 4 outputs.

Community will unveil innovative new beamforming technology that addresses the unique coverage and projection challenges of large venues, taking the wraps off their new L SERIES LVH-900 Beamforming Venue Horn. The company also will present its new Amplified Loudspeaker Controllers (ALC), which provide all of the signal routing, zone switching, DSP processing, protective limiting, remote monitoring, and amplification functions needed between a mixer and the loudspeakers in virtually any Community Professional Loudspeakers application.

Digital Projection will give a technology preview of its latest innovation – the Satellite Modular Laser System (MLS). In short, Satellite MLS offers a small number of simple building blocks that will allow users to address a wide range of applications, from single projector installs to complex, multi-channel domes, caves and simulators. The keystone of this new system is the separation of the light source, with its associated power and thermal management, to a remote location, which enables a small, compact projection ‘Head’ that only contains the minimal optical and video processing.

EAW will launch the new SB818P|F companion subwoofer for the KF810P. The SB818P|F is direct radiating, with an optimally tuned, vented enclosure that houses an 18-inch neodymium transducer with long-excursion 5.3-inch voice coil and tremendous motor strength, enabling reduced system weight and increased output response at all output levels. Also new at the booth will be EAW’s new RS Series 2-way self-powered loudspeakers and subwoofers that deliver EAW signature performance in a portable, lightweight wooden enclosure housing bi-amplified electronics and designed around the company’s latest generation of touring-grade transducers. A rotatable, constant-directivity HF horn, inspired by the company’s classic MK series, offers precise pattern control. The RS Series’ DSP provides intelligent Focusing for unmatched, musical clarity and accuracy and DynO™ dynamic optimization.

Just Add Power will feature its new 3G+ 767DSS Dante Enhanced Sound System transmitter. The transmitter adds compatibility with Dante and AES67 audio networks to Ultra HD over IP systems, with separate switching of audio and video. J+P will also highlight its new five-year warranty for all HDMI over IP transmitters and receivers in the company’s 2GΩ/3G and 3G families, the 726TVI 2G/3G+ TVI PoE transmitter, and the new Q-SYS plug-in for QSC control.

Kramer Electronics will be showcasing its VS-34FD, a 34-port modular 8K multi format digital matrix switcher with interchangeable inputs & outputs. The VS-34FD from Kramer supports HDMI, HDBaseT, DGkat, fiber optic, DVI, VGA HD-SDI as well as analog and digital audio. The VS-34FD chassis is backwards compatible with all existing cards (with the addition of an adapter) and futureproofs AV installations with an 8K ready chassis for upcoming 8K cards. Furthermore, all ports can be used interchangeably as either inputs or outputs, according to installation requirements. VS-34FD has an independent audio matrix in addition to the audio features of the installed cards, a built-in Ethernet switch for use with any card that has an Ethernet port, and redundant hot swappable power supplies.

LEA Professional introduces a professional-grade IoT technology platform with the launch of the LEA Connect Series amplifier family, bringing the benefits of a connected world to the Professional A/V market. The LEA Connect Series products will offer IoT capabilities as a standard feature providing remote control and monitoring of installed systems without having to VPN into the Local Area Network. This provides the ability to access the system anywhere from any device, delivering the integrator an easy way to communicate with the installed system. Preventative maintenance and other system health data is gathered from sensors and circuitry within the amplifier. If the customer wishes to disable the IoT feature, they can do so and still have a secure connection on their local area network. LEA Professional chose AWS IoT Core as the infrastructure that will safely and securely transmit data to and from the amplifier.

Meyer Sound will debut to the USA market its ULTRA-X40. Based on technologies developed for the newest generation of LEO Family line arrays, ULTRA-X40 features a distinctive driver configuration, a rotatable horn, and a new amplifier and processing module. This versatile new self-powered loudspeaker will be demonstrated in a wide variety of portable and installed configurations, from flown clusters to pole mounts, to emphasize the extraordinary array of rigging options.

Modus VR, developer of the revolutionary virtual reality design software platform that is rapidly becoming a mainstay in residential custom installation reseller showrooms across the country, is coming to InfoComm 2019 to listen and learn about the specific needs of commercial AV resellers in advance of an expected formal market entry later this year. Riedel will showcase the new Artist-1024 node, a powerful new addition to the Artist intercom ecosystem. Artist-1024 features an incredible 1024 ports in just 2 RU and is targeted toward IP installations with its full SMPTE ST 2110-30/31 (AES67) compliance. Artist-1024 introduces a range of technical innovations centered on software-definable Universal Interface Cards (UIC). This entirely new type of interface card combines networking, mixing, and management, and it can be configured to act either as an AES67 or MADI subscriber card, or as an Artist fiber/router/processor card. Changing the connectivity type is as easy as reconfiguring the UIC with the click of a button in Riedel’s Director configuration software.

Visionary Solutions will be taking the wraps off their new PacketAV Sentinel software. PacketAV Sentinel enables proactive network AV monitoring with real-time alerting, making it simple to monitor the status of the network and network-connected AV devices from any location. With a user-friendly, single-screen GUI, Sentinel provides network AV endpoint visibility and immediately indicates faults, identifying failing endpoints by name. VuWall will demonstrate the full capabilities of its CoScape multidisplay collaboration and presentation system. CoScape allows presenters to display all sources on one or multiple touch surfaces, creating a true high-resolution, interactive turnkey display solution for easy visual collaboration. It’s perfectly suited for collaboration rooms, allowing sources to be shared on a touch video wall or projection screen. It features an open platform to ensure full support of standard corporate applications and a high-end performance workstation driven by powerful NVIDIA graphics cards for 3D acceleration graphics. Yamaha Unified Communications has broadened its offering of bundled professional audio conferencing solutions specifically engineered for seamless and easy installation out of the box into boardrooms and large conference rooms utilizing UC applications.
