Leading developer of high quality ProAV distribution and control solutions WyreStorm took to IFMEA 2017 Show Floor through its new Middle East Partner EVIG to showcase its latest solutions. While the company demonstrated a wide range of solutions, the highlight of the show was its award-winning NetworkHD-230-TX, a low bandwidth H.264 encoder for wired or WiFi content streaming to PCs, tablets, smartphones, set-top boxes, IPTVs or any device with compatible decoding software.
Supporting all SD and HD resolutions up to 1920 x 1200@60Hz and stereo audio, the NHD-230-TX offers separate AV encoding and streaming protocol options galore, including LAN or WiFI streaming to third party players such as VLC and KODI for a wide variety of applications such as education, presentation and residential.
Interesting feature of the NHD-230-TX is that the system creates an H.264 stream to be decoded by the compatible viewing device itself. The NHD-230-TX cannot be decoded by other NetworkHD Series components and is not compatible with NetworkHD Touch.
Other key features of the system include:
* UDP, RTP, unicast and multicast streaming support
* Up to 10 simultaneous unicast RSTP sessions and unlimited multicast sessions (requires a managed network)
* Separate video and audio encoder bitrate control with various streaming protocols for a wide variety of applications, including education and presentations to view content on users’ own PCs, laptops and tablets, as well as in the home to encode sources for viewing on any IPTV capable device on the LAN
* Simple web based configuration
