IFMEA: Epson Introduces Laser Projection To MEA

Leading Japanese projection solutions developer Epson, returning to IFMEA platform this year, took the show floor with the introduction of laser projectors. The company launched three models of laser projection for the MEA markets.

These new models included the EB700U, Epson’s first ultra-short throw laser signage projector; the EH-LS10500, the laser projector with HDR, 4K enhancement, UHD BD support and 3LCD reflective technology, for vivid colours and absolute blacks; and the EB-L1755U, the extremely bright 15,000-lumen WUXGA 3LCD laser projector, offering outstanding fit and reliability with 4K enhancement technology.

According to Jason Whiley, Director of Sales, Epson Middle East laser is the future of large display technology, and the company sees a strong demand for their projectors in the region. With the kind of 3LCD technology expertise that it possesses, Epson is able to provide collaborative experiences with stunning quality and colour brightness- with virtually no maintenance time.

The EB700U projector allows projection of information or video exactly where they’re needed, and it can be installed almost anywhere with no need for maintenance. The EB-700U is an affordable display solution- thanks to laser technology there are no lamps to replace, and its inorganic panel and phosphor display wheel are so reliable that Epson offers an up to five-year/20,000-hour warranty, a statement said.

A large image size of up to 130 inches combines with a bright, sharp 4,000-lumen WUXGA resolution to offer a great ultra-short-throw signage solution. It is ideal for museums and galleries wanting to use striking projection as part of exhibits, or display visitor information that changes regularly.

The EB-L1755U is designed for large venues, with its capability for high resolution WUXGA images in vivid and bright colours even in daylight. Inorganic phosphor wheel technology provides superior light and heat resistance to deliver excellent reliability that lasts for up to 83,000 hours and delivers bright 15,000-lumen WUXGA performance. The EB-L1755U installation laser projector is ideally suited to large rooms and venues. With flexible installation and low maintenance, this 4K-enhanced projector offers a perfect solution for scenarios where only maximum performance and durability will do.

Also on display was Epson’s EB-L25000U, the world’s First 3LCD laser projector with 25,000 lumens plus 4K Enhancement. It is designed for dynamic, high-impact live productions.
The EH-LS10500, on the other hand, is aimed at Home Cinema segment, with a very immersive experience to viewers. Contrast and colour depths are done with dual laser light source delivering widest colour gamut and absolute blacks.
