Guests were given an experiential guided tour with impactful large-scale presentations, showcasing features including:
- Built-in camera for automatic colour and image calibration: Using 2 units of Epson’s EB-L1405U lamp-free laser projectors with 8,000 lumens white and colour light output, the projectors precisely adjusts edge blending to combine edges for a seamless, unified look. With the EB-L1405U built-in camera, it detects subtle colour inconsistencies and screens that have become unevenly coloured over time, allowing the projector to automatically correct colour.
- High definition images with 4K enhancement technology and colour accuracy: The Epson EB-L1100U lamp-free laser projector with 6,000 lumens white and colour light output, went head-on with a competitor’s laser projector at a comparison shoot-out. With its 4K Enhancement Technology, guests experienced the most intricate details for best projection quality and viewing experience.
- Multi-direction projection: Epson also demonstrated a portrait projection with the new EB-G7905U (7,000 lumens colour and white light output) high brightness projector launched in early June 2016. The new range of Epson EB-L1000 series lamp-free laser and EB-G7000 series projectors can be rotated 360° in any direction – horizontally, vertically and rotationally – without any loss in image brightness.
Prior to the guided tour, executives from Epson shared insights on Epson’s vision to grow its presence in and support demand for innovation in the high brightness projector market. A product presentation also shared key attributes for the EB-L1000 series, including its ability to reproduce images with outstanding levels of colour brightness for extremely long periods.
“Epson is pleased to launch our first series of lamp free 3LCD laser projectors. With this launch, we have become one of the few projector brands in the world that are able to offer a comprehensive lineup, consisting of both lamp and lamp-free projectors, powered by our 3LCD technology. We are definitely committed to further improve our range.”
“We look forward to excite the market with more innovation, and we aim to grow our strengths in the mid and large venue market segments. At the later part of this year, we will be launching our 12,000 and 25,000 lumens laser projectors. This launch is really the start of an exciting journey for all of us in Epson as well as for our end users and business partners,” said Tan May Lin, Epson Singapore’s General Manager (Sales, Marketing & Customer Service Division).
