Audinate has announced that the Dante AV Networking World training event will be slightly different at the Integrated Systems Europe trade show this year, with two separate tracks catering to Dante users of differing levels.

The free all-day conference will open with a general session that touches on topics including “Audio Networking Trends and Research” and “Importance of Security, Crossing Subnets in AV Networking” before splitting into the two tracks.

The first track is designed for attendees who are new to Dante, and will offer the following basic foundational skills:

  • What is Dante?
  • Digital audio basics
  • IP Networking basics
  • Using Dante
  • Dante Controller Basics
  • Dante Virtual Soundcard

Track 1 will also offer the following intermediate concepts:

  • Dante Controller
  • Dante redundancy
  • Clocking
  • Latency
  • Unicast & Multicast
  • Dante Flows
  • Dante Via

The second track is suited for attendees who are more familiar with or are already using Dante, and who want to create more advanced systems and learn best practices. The track will offer the following intermediate concepts:

  • Dante Controller
  • Dante redundancy
  • Clocking
  • Latency
  • Unicast & Multicast
  • Dante Flows
  • Dante Via

Track 2 will also offer a more advanced Dante workshop that will cover:

  • Advanced networking concepts
  • Mixed use networks
  • Networking best practices
  • Troubleshooting techniques

Audinate will also offer Dante Certification training at the event, offering design consultants, system integrators, audio engineers and IT managers the tools and information they need to get the most out of Dante.

The Dante AV Networking World training events will be held in rooms G104 and G105 at the RAI on 6 February 2017, a day before the ISE floors open.
