The new team structure comprises elevation of three professionals to key roles, and inclusion of a new portfolio for the Vertical markets. The new team therefore comprises Jayaprakash C as the National Sales Manager (Channels); Aneesh Kumar as the Director of Technical Services; Farhan Walele as the National Product Manager; and Chetan Patnaik as the National Sales Manager for Vertical markets.
Jayaprakash and Aneesh will be based in Bangalore, while Farhan will be based in Mumbai. Having been Crestron professionals for a good time, all three have been elevated to key positions, while Chetan comes in from outside, and will be based in New Delhi. He comes from Samsung where he had built from the ground up a hugely successful business for the Korean electronics major in government and enterprise markets. His thorough exposure to the segment, and business acumen are taken to be a huge advantage to further the cause of Crestron business in the respective domains.
Jayaprakash – fondly referred to by colleagues and industry circles as JP – is taken to have commendable knowledge on channel market in the country. The ‘national’ approach to his role promises to bring in a consistency of Crestron service, as the rolls out its sales and marketing initiatives.
Aneesh is highly respected for his understanding of Crestron technology and his expertise at disseminating the same to the customers and colleagues.
Farhan Walele, as Crestron India’s product expert at top level, will play a key role in training Crestron partners and customers on all the new products/solutions by means of demos to key clients and colleagues.
David Rashleigh, Executive Director, Crestron-Southeast Asia, who was in Bengaluru recently to review Crestron India’s preparations for the new mould – in line with the company’s global focus – expressed confidence about the new steam and strengths being added. Crestron stands to gain and stay more focused with the new team in place overseing the respective portfolios, he said, adding, the company is now gearing up to reach out to its customers with new dynamism.
“While the restructuring is in line with the company’s global focus, the trusted Crestron Experience remains the same,” David said. “This is part of the efforts to continue to provide the same experience uniformly as a single stream across Crestron’s presence globally.”
The restructuring of Crestron essentially meant its approach is being segmentized Vertical-wise and Channel-wise- which is why the new composition. Chetan Patnaik, the new talent joining Crestron, said “the vehicle of communicating the messaging of Crestron Experience hasn’t changed; it’s the messaging that is changing. Crestron is no longer just a box-maker; it is developer of integrated solutions for a complete experience. This messaging is more effective with a direct approach to the customer.”
