Crestron Australia is on the lookout for their new Regional Sales Manager – New South Wales (RSM – NSW). The RSM-NSW will be based in Sydney and will work to cover business within NSW while reporting to the National Sales Manager.

 

Role Purpose

As the RSM-NSW your overall goal is to drive growth and increase sales within the NSW market. In addition to working in an existing channel, the successful candidate will be required to develop new business through direct end user engagement activities. Responsibilities include cultivating & developing relationships with key decision makers and industry influencers and also leveraging any existing relationships that you bring to the role.

Ideally, you have a strong understanding of Crestron technologies and positioning in the Enterprise market.

The role is based in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business

• Account manage both our channel and enterprise partners

• Open up a high-growth pipeline via strategic demand generation activities

• Develop & grow relationships with new and existing customers via various direct methods with a focus on face to face meetings and account management

• Open up a high-growth pipeline via strategic demand generation activities

• Work closely with the national sales team to manage pipeline activities

• Attend strategic targeted events to profile the company’s brand

• Meet set KPI’s for any sales programs implemented

• Meet and exceed sales goals

Required Competencies

• 3-5 years’ experience selling in the Pro AV industry.

• An ambitious and natural drive to develop business relationships

• An ability to work, plan & execute independently

• Experience selling workplace technology

• Excellent presentation skills and a strong understanding of corporate culture and best business practices

• Experience and proven track record of success negotiating and closing deals

• A clear understanding of the company’s play & positioning in the Enterprise space
