With a view to effective reach out to its increasing clientèle in SAARC markets, leading American provider of professional AV equipment for a variety of applications, Biamp Systems has opened its office in Bengaluru, India.
Biamp’s Vice-President (International Business Development) Niclas Brattberg ‘lit the lamp’, along with International Applications Engineering Manager Martin M. Bonsoir, Regional Manager-SAARC Ranjith N.P, and Technical Projects Manager-Middle East Ahmed Sabra.
The Biamp establishment in Bengaluru – besides being a full-fledged set-up with provisions for training, product and solution demonstration, service and technical support, and sales and marketing – is also unique in that it resembles the company’s head office at Beaverton, Oregon in the USA in terms of its interiors and training set-up.
Niclas, who flew down from the USA to Bengaluru specially to inaugurate the office, said that the Bengaluru office setting-up was part of the company’s initiative to stay closer to its clientèle and address their requirements and expectations with better efficiency.
“Biamp has very strong presence across the SAARC markets; it was always essential for us to stay closer to their requirements,” Niclas told SI Asia on the occasion.
“India occupies a vital place in this presence. What better place than Bengaluru then for us to have a region-centric presence.”
Emphasizing that the company has been rapidly expanding its product portfolio – by its own R&D and innovation as also by means of aggressive acquisitions – Niclas said Biamp now has a very wide basket of incredible solutions for Pro AV markets, and the Bengaluru establishment will play a crucial role in promoting all that through the SAARC region.
Chipping in along with Niclas, Biamp’s Regional Manager for SAARC Ranjith NP said the Bengaluru office will be an Experience Centre for clients, consultants, and systems integrators from the region.
“For the eligible, aspiring professionals, we will also conduct training and certification programmes, in tune Biamp’s global programme,” Ranjith said.
“Seeing is believing; we bring and invite the industry fraternity to experience how Biamp can contribute to their business.”
