September saw Barco launch the LED XT in Bangkok together with their official partners Showtec Thailand and Global AV. The event was held at the offices of Showtec Thailand. Guests comprising of end-users, event planners, system integrators, resellers and consultants hailing from the AV industry as well as the government, entertainment and attractions as well as corporate sectors attended the event.
Barco took the opportunity to also showcase their control room and ProAV solutions such as the UPW-210 UniSee present and ClickShare CSE-200 and CSE-800 as well as the G60-W8 WUXGA 8000 lumens projector and the higher end 31,000 lumens UDX 4K32. The Transform N software complemented the displays for the control room showcase whereas the E2 presentation system together with the EC-210 controller was used to showcase their advantages for live screen management.
The star of the event was the LED XT Series. The 27” diagonal tile in 16:9 aspect ratio is able to playback Full UD or UHD resolution images without distortion or unused canvas space. There are altogether 4 models with pixel pitches of 0.9, 1.2, 1.5 and 1.9 mm. The XT series offers customers a superior viewing experience without limitations in size.
The tiles powered by Barco’s Infinipix ensures constant image quality and guarantees perfect colour and greyscale levels for all ambient lighting conditions. What’s more, the unique LED processing platform provides all necessary features to maximize the uptime of installations, including integrated dual data redundancy.
Maintenance of the tiles or even replacements is made easy and accessible with the Assisted Module Extraction. The full-frontal accessibility make sure that the tiles can be easily removed with a reduced risk of pixel damage. The camera-supported seam compensation technology ensures easy alignment.
