AMX holds Pro AV India Consultants’ Meet

In what is hailed as the first ever Pro AV India consultants’ meet, global leader of control systems and automation solutions AMX organized a one-day ‘India Consultants Meet 2012’ recently in Jaipur, the historic capital of North-West Indian State of Rajasthan.

Organized at the famed Choki Dhani resort – one of the most acclaimed five-star luxury resorts in South Asia – the programme was a sort of ‘technotainment’ blending entertainment with technology dope and vice versa. The one-day technical deliberations were preceded by a nice evening-out through the resort that characteristically encapsulates the cultural richness of Rajasthan in its totality.

As many as twelve consultants from eight top Pro AV consultant firms from across India, apart from the AMX teams from Bangalore and Delhi, participated in the programme.

Focused on the “Game Changing Pro AV Technology”, the consultants were taken through a journey of truly game-changing technology traits by AMX. The consultants were exposed to the path-breaking technology solutions like Smartscale and InstaGate Pro, revolutionary products like Enova DGX/DVX, new, future-ready X-Series multi-touch panels, Hydraports, and Rapid Project Maker. The session also included detailed exposure to how AMX does its R&D, and develops its future ready products.

Conducted by individual product managers for each product category, the sessions were well received by the consultant community.

The consultants who attended included: Neil Langford and Rishab Kumblar from Spacematrix; Kelvin Ashby-King and Chadrashekar Naik from T2 Consulting; Vineet Singh and Selvyn from Hewshott; Harmeet Singh and Claron D’Souza from ihD; Hemant Vats from Extreme Global Services; Rajeev Arora from Qubix; Abdul Waheed from RST Technologies; and Dilip Tikle from Connect Dots.

Robert Noble, the Chief Technology Officer at AMX comments, “The objective of the programme was not just to give a brief of products to the professionals who might well be aware of them; it’s rather to take them through the meticulous processes, and the R & D strengths behind the development which stands out from the market,”  adding, “it helps both the consultants, the primary users, and, we, the developers, understand each other well.”

Summing up the objectives, Mayank Gupta, Country Manager, AMX India says, “The purpose of this event was to bring the consultants and manufacturer onto a common platform where we could share the ideas for future changes in the Pro AV technology and what direction AMX is taking. It is also aimed at gaining an insight into the market from the consultants who are in touch with the end-clients, and what they visualize about the future changes in Pro AV industry.”
