Sierra Video has announced the hire of John Cosenza as Director of Product Development and Marketing. The position will focus on the current and future needs of customers with an eye to industry developments, emerging technologies, and their impact on integrators and end users.

This new position at Sierra Video will provide guidance and assistance to the company’s product development program. In overseeing product development, Mr. Cosenza will ensure that new product designs are responsive to the latest industry developments and the impact those developments have on customer’s and end user’s applications. Additionally, he will develop sales and marketing tools and programs to be leveraged by the Sierra Video/Kramer Electronics sales force and their partners operating in more than 20 countries worldwide.

Mr. Cosenza previously served at Sierra Video from 1997 to 2005 overseeing Channel Sales. In addition to his thorough knowledge of Sierra Video’s products and technologies, Mr. Cosenza brings extensive experience in product development and product management to the role.
